ID CARD POLICY
General Requirements
Verification must be based on a valid, current federal, provincial, or territorial government-issued photo ID containing:
- Name
- Photograph
- Unique identifier number
Foreign ID Considerations
- Foreign ID is acceptable if equivalent to Canadian government-issued photo ID.
- Municipal IDs (Canadian or foreign): Not acceptable.
- Ontario health cards: Prohibited (see IPC Ontario).

- Canadian Passport
- Permanent Resident Card
- Citizenship Card (issued before 2012)
- Secure Certificate of Indian Status
- DND 404 Driver's Licence
Provincial/Territorial Driver's Licences
Driver's licences from: BC, AB, SK, MB, ON, QC, NB, NS, PEI, NL, YT, NT, NU
Identity Cards
- BC Enhanced ID
- Alberta Photo ID
- Saskatchewan Non-Driver ID
- Manitoba Enhanced ID
- Ontario Photo Card
- New Brunswick Photo ID
- Nova Scotia ID
- PEI Voluntary ID
